Three kilometers away from despair
In the EIA documentation describing the plans for the future expansion of the mine, the members of the Uhelná Neighborhood Association found a map unveiling the demolition of their neighboring village of Opolno-Zdrój, the destructions of which they had no idea about until then. They could not understand that anyone would be willing to destroy a living historic town just to gain a few extra years of mining low-quality coal.
